In the 21st-century, soft-skills are considered more critical to work readiness than traditional hard-skills. Yet, most softs skills are challenging to mentor as, more often than not, they stem from the harsh environment of recreational activities or are collected from social media influencers; away from the supervision of professors and parents.

Individual assessments are performed by a professional to:
- Pinoint fear or weaknesses that need to be strenghthened.
- Set personal targets to provide encouragement.
- Provide confidential progress reports to monitor development.
Frequent private meetings are held to boost performance .
